I would like to offer you a small excursion through our gallery, that carries the name of my grand-father, academic painter Josef Fiala.
I have collected paintings and the papers related to my ancestor during the passed years. Some of them I got from my father and grand-father for birthsday or for my christening, others I have inherrited. But most of the paintings had a twisty road until I finally got them. I have put a lot of them up to auction, some of them I have bought accidently in antique shops and a part of them was offered to me from collectors who had known about my passion in my grand-dad´s artworks. Even my cater cousins supported me in my inention to collect the biggest collection of not only paintings and author´s frames but also papers´ originals from the life of this artist and his family.
I wish you a pleasant experience from this show and I believe we meet once personally when I put imto life my idea to exhibit the collection of the academic painter Josef Fiala in a stone gallery.
